Introducing the Latest in KG Bodywork: 509 and MK27 Models

We’re thrilled to present the newest innovations in KG bodywork: the high-performance 509 model and the compact, aerodynamic MK27 for cadet karts. Designed to set new standards in speed, stability, and handling, these models reflect KG's commitment to using cutting-edge technology to maximise kart performance.

The KG 509: Precision Aerodynamics with Enhanced Compatibility

The KG 509 bodywork is designed for top-level aerodynamic efficiency. Featuring a newly updated front fairing and Nassau panel, the 509 has undergone extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing. This rigorous development has led to a remarkable drag reduction of 1 kg (10 N) at 80 km/h, compared to the 507 and 508 models.

With a focus on creating laminar airflow and achieving balanced downforce across both front and rear axles, the 509 delivers unmatched stability and control at high speeds. For those familiar with the 507 model, it’s worth noting that the 509 bodywork is fully compatible with and continues to use the 507 side pods, offering an easy transition for racers looking to upgrade without needing a complete bodywork overhaul.

The MK27: Optimised for Cadet (Mini Kart) Performance

Following the success of the senior 508 model, the MK27 bodywork has been crafted specifically for the cadet (mini kart) category. KG has focused particularly on optimising tunnel proportions to maximise the speed of internal airflow. This research has resulted in a design that provides both improved aerodynamics and enhanced performance for younger drivers. The MK27 is also fully compatible with the popular MK20 front fairing, allowing for seamless integration.

Why Choose KG’s Latest Bodywork?

Both the KG 509 and MK27 represent the pinnacle of kart bodywork innovation for 2025, catering to both seasoned racers and cadet drivers alike. The 509’s aerodynamic precision and the MK27’s optimised design give drivers an edge in speed and control, making these bodyworks an ideal choice for anyone looking to enhance their performance on the track.

Stay tuned for more updates and insights as we explore these exciting new models and how they’re transforming karting performance.
