If you’re looking to buy your child their first real racing kart, the Synergy 2-Stroke Cadet Kart is the perfect choice. Designed for children aged 8 to 12 years old (the official Cadet class in UK karting), these karts can also be adjusted to suit a wider range of sizes by moving the seat and pedals — so your child can grow with the kart.

Every Synergy Cadet uses a 28 mm chassis frame, offering the right balance of strength, flexibility and performance for this age group.

🏁 Choosing the Right Kart

We stock a large mix of Synergy Cadet Karts, including both 900 mm and 950 mm chassis options:

• 900 mm Chassis – The earlier UK-made design. Slightly smaller and ideal for newcomers. Great for practice or getting started.
• 950 mm Chassis – The current model used in UK racing, with refined geometry for improved handling and performance.

If you’re new to karting, don’t worry about choosing the perfect size — once your order is placed, our experienced team will match your child with the best kart based on their height, experience, and goals.

All Synergy chassis are fully supported with spare parts and accessories available directly from KKC Kart Components.

⚙️ Kart Grades

• Grade A – Excellent condition, low-use karts that look and drive almost like new.
• Grade B – Good condition, lightly used karts with minor cosmetic wear but top performance.
• Grade C – Older or more used karts, fully checked and safe, ideal for beginners or practice sessions.

All karts go through a comprehensive 20-point inspection before sale.

🔧 Engine Options

• No Engine (Chassis Only) – Supplied as a rolling chassis, ideal if you already have your own engine.
• IAME Gazelle 60 cc – Used – A reliable, serviced pre-owned Gazelle 60 cc 2-stroke engine. Perfect for learning or club-level racing.
• IAME Gazelle 60 cc – New – Brand-new Gazelle 60 cc engine, the most popular Cadet engine in the UK.
• IAME Water Swift – New – The latest generation Cadet engine, featuring water cooling for improved consistency and performance. Fully race-legal and supported in current UK classes.
• Rotax Max – New – A smooth, durable engine offering great performance and easy maintenance.

You can collect your kart from our workshop at Whilton Mill Kart Circuit, near Daventry (just off Junction 16/18 of the M1). When visiting, you can also browse our full range of racewear, helmets, and accessories. Prefer delivery? We can arrange secure nationwide shipping straight to your door.
